Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Quality Inspector to inspect incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and documentation.  This is a contract / hire opportunity with a world leading manufacturer of RF and microwave components located in Holbrook NY area.

Job Summary :

• Perform visual, mechanical, and dimensional inspections of electronic components and assemblies using appropriate inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, magnifiers, microscopes).
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing instructions, and inspection criteria.
• Document inspection results clearly and accurately, including non-conformances and deviations.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure that workmanship standards (such as IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001), and safety procedures are followed.
