We are looking for a detail-oriented Concierge to join our team on a contract basis in Stamford, Connecticut. This role requires someone who is success-driven, meticulous, and committed to providing exceptional experiences for guests, employees, and visitors. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you’ll play a key role in managing daily operations and ensuring seamless service.
Responsibilities :
- Greet and assist visitors, employees, and guests at the front desk to provide a welcoming and organized experience.
- Coordinate conference room bookings and handle set-up and breakdown for meetings and events.
- Maintain and organize lobby and front desk areas to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and requests for information, collaborating with various levels of management to resolve issues.
- Handle building service concerns, including janitorial services, mailroom operations, copier services, parking, badging, and conference room arrangements.
- Act as a knowledgeable information resource for building, campus, and area-related inquiries.
- Anticipate client needs and address concerns proactively to enhance satisfaction.
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a cohesive work environment.
- Provide support for occasional after-hours events as needed.
- Perform additional administrative and operational duties as requested.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of experience in hospitality or a related field.
- Strong multitasking abilities with a proven track record of managing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with team members and communicate professionally with all levels of management.
- Flexibility to assist with occasional events outside regular work hours.
- Familiarity with concierge services, conference room setups, and mailroom operations is a plus.
