Pay Range : $24-$36 per hour + $2 an hour shift differential. Time and a half for hours over 10 in a day / 40 in a week.
2nd Shift : Monday through Thursday 2 : 00 p.m. to 12 : 30 a.m. OR 3 : 00 p.m. to 1 : 30 a.m.
REQUIRES random drug and alcohol testing throughout the year. The drug test screens for : Marijuana, Amphetamines, Cocaine, Opiates, Phencyclidine and semi-synthetic opioids : hydrocodone, oxycodone, hydromorphone, and oxymorphone.
Position Summary
Responsible for the calibration, maintenance, repair and inventory management of test, measurement and inspection instruments.
Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of test, measurement and inspection equipment traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on test, measurement and inspection equipment according to company and manufacturer requirements.
- Maintain equipment calibration database to ensure the calibration schedule is optimized and maintained.
- Order replacement parts for equipment as needed and research advances in metrology methods and equipment.
- Collect and perform contamination and physical analysis of hydraulic fluids for hydraulic test stands.
- Manage calibration process for offsite calibration to include obtaining quotations, generating purchase order requests, shipping and receiving equipment.
- Develop calibration procedures for each newly acquired test, measurement and inspection equipment based on detailed drawings and other technical specifications provided by the employer or the instrument manufacturer.
- Manage and maintain the location of all calibration controlled equipment for the company.
- Direct the calibration work of junior inspection and calibration staff as required.
- Perform product inspection and other duties as required.
Education and Experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person / Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder.High School Graduate or the equivalent.
