Responsibilities Work in a case management unit within an acute hospital setting Responsible for case management and utilization review duties including discharge planning Shift is Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm, with weekends required No on-call responsibility Average daily census of 70 on weekends and 20 on weekdays 24 hours of orientation provided Provide comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual patient needs to enhance the quality of care Promote continuity of care and cost effectiveness through case management, utilization review, and discharge planning functions Must be highly organized, adaptable to frequent change, and compliant with regulatory and departmental guidelines Two professional references required for consideration Candidates must include any requested time off (RTO) at time of application Requirements Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred Minimum of 4 years total RN experience, with at least 2 years in acute hospital settings Epic experience required BLS certification required ACM / CCM certifications preferred No first-time travelers will be considered Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623676.
