Job Responsibilities

• Supervises individuals in custody in accordance with agency rules and standards.
• Observes individuals in custody and reports behavior and reactions to other professional team members.
• Receives on-going training to develop new and updated skills and improve proficiency in carrying out specialized service delivery programs involving group or individual services to individuals in custody.
• Ensures individuals in custody have access to necessary and appropriate medical services.
• Maintains assigned area in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
• Transports and supervises individuals in custody movement to and from destinations inside and / or outside the facility grounds including but not limited to, correctional centers, court and hospitals.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
