This senior leadership role oversees the enterprise IT infrastructure environment, combining strategic vision with hands-on technical oversight. The Manager, IT Infrastructure and Networking will architect, implement, and optimize systems to support a global organization, ensuring scalability, resiliency, automation, and security. You will lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team while collaborating closely with business and product leaders to align technology initiatives with organizational priorities. This role involves managing networking, cloud environments, hybrid infrastructure, and security frameworks, while driving modernization and Infrastructure-as-Code adoption. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise IT strategy and infrastructure, delivering reliable, secure, and efficient systems across the organization.
Accountabilities :
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of system engineers and administrators, fostering innovation and accountability.
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for infrastructure, cloud adoption, automation, and modernization initiatives.
- Oversee enterprise infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, compliance, and scalability.
- Manage design, implementation, and support of networking technologies, VOIP, and hyperconverged infrastructure.
- Establish and monitor metrics for availability, resilience, and performance with continuous improvement goals.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices and DevOps methodologies for efficient provisioning and deployment.
- Guide resolution of complex technical issues, providing Tier 3 escalation support.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that support business priorities.
- Author and enforce policies, standards, and best practices for infrastructure engineering and operations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors to recommend strategic investments.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks, governance, and audit requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred; high school diploma / GED with 12+ years enterprise IT experience acceptable.10+ years progressive enterprise IT / infrastructure experience, with 5+ years leading high-performing technical teams.Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Office 365, network engineering, infrastructure architecture, and hybrid cloud environments.Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting, automation frameworks, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.Experience with enterprise networking (switching, routing, firewalls), contact center technologies, and VOIP solutions.Knowledge of security, compliance, and governance frameworks (PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO standards).Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI / CD pipelines, and secure system configurations across Windows, macOS, and Linux.Strong leadership, strategic planning, communication, and executive presence.Professional certifications preferred (CCSP, MCSE, CCNA, or equivalent).Ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally and participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.Benefits
