About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Hours per Shift : 12.5 hours

Experience : 2 years recent Med Surg Rehab experience, Charge RN experience, Previous Travel experience (at least 3 months)

License : Current RN License

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

Must-Have : BSN preferred, Must have own vehicle

Description :

An RN in an acute rehabilitation setting provides specialized care to patients recovering from illnesses or injuries.

The focus is on regaining independence and functional abilities.

This role involves a combination of acute care skills and rehabilitation-specific expertise.

May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse.

Coordinates total nursing care for patients.

Participates in patient and family teaching.

Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.

Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Nurse to patient ratio is 1 to 4 / 5.

Average daily patient census is 22.

Requests for time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified.

Holiday coverage is required for two of the specified holiday days.

Local travelers need to have their own vehicle as public transport is not available.

Traveler candidates must have a permanent address.

All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.

Requests after an offer may lead to rescinded offers.

There is a policy regarding call-offs that may affect contract status.

Every other weekend and holiday work may be required if needed.
