The Patient Access Service (PAS) Coordinator is responsible for :

• Performing functions in any or all of the following PAS modalities : Front Desk, Registration, Scheduling, Financial Counseling, Bed Control, Cashier, Insurance, and Document Imaging
• Proficient in all of the Patient Access Service modalities within the department
• Resolves PAS and customer service issues
• Processes payroll
• Maintains department staffing schedules
• Assists the manager in providing guidance and direction to the Patient Access Service Representatives
• May be required to rotate shifts, and occasionally takes on-call responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
