About The Position

Job Title : CVOR Tech

Profession : Surgical Services

Specialty : Cardiac and Vascular Operating Room Technician

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 2x8-Hour (06 : 30 - 14 : 00); 2x12-Hour (10 : 30 - 23 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 5 years total CST experience, 2 years in cardiac and vascular, 1 year CVOR experience, 1 year in a Level I Trauma facility.

License : Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

Scrub experience required

Experience with cardiovascular / thoracic instrument reprocessing

Description :

Certified Surgical Tech (CVOR) Scrub required.

Flexibility in scheduling is essential, with shifts ranging from 6 : 30 AM to 11 : 00 PM as needed.

Call is required.

General OR Thoracic Vascular CVOR procedures experience is necessary, including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, etc.

Aseptic technique is a must.

Experience with crash cart, scrub, and circulate is required.

Documentation of equipment is necessary.

Familiarity with the charting system is also required.

Candidates must be adaptable and ready to handle varying schedules.

Strong emphasis is placed on surgical safety and compliance with protocols.
