Responsibilities for Stocker Perform general stocking duties on a daily basis including storing and stocking products Move, handle, transport products, material or supplies to other departments Load, unload, and move heavy, bulky products Keep the work area clean, organized, and free hazards and dispose of trash Help and assist customers in finding merchandise and providing them with information perform other duties as assigned Follow safety policies and procedures Qualifications for Stocker Ability to read and understand simple instructions Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push / pull heavy loads of 75 pounds in a physical environment Must be able to work tasks while bending, stopping, climbing, and reaching Previous experience in receiving, handling and stocking in retail or warehouse / distribution environments preferred GET TO KNOW US Ganahl Lumber Company is the oldest lumberyard and hardware supply store in California.
