Join American Roller Company, a recognized leader in custom and standard rollers for the converting industry. If you thrive on precision, craft, and clear communication, this role puts you at the center of our customers success and your own growth.

What your shift looks like
You clock in, review your job traveler, and pull up drawings and e-drawings. You program directly from SolidWorks models in Mastercam, fine-tune G and M code, and leverage conversational programming when it is the right tool for the job. You set up the CNC lathe, run your first-off piece, and verify critical dimensions right in the machine using micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.
As the run progresses, you keep an eye on tolerances and surface finish. Whether working to drawing specs or our common shop tolerance standards (CREW), you ensure every part meets requirements, including pre-finishing operations. You document your findings on inspection reports and the job traveler, then file and save CNC programs with supporting documents, maintaining organized files for the next person who touches the job.
