Supporting Crew Member (SCM) Program
CAE X SIMCOM- The leader in Aviation training is offering a unique opportunity in our Orlando, Florida location through its Supporting Crew Member (SCM) program. The SCM program is designed to train and qualify program members to provide "right seat support" for our clients attending FAA approved 14 CFR 142 and authorized contract training 14 CFR 135 curriculum courses at our facilities. We seek local candidates for our Orlando location for this on-call SCM position.

This position as an SCM will give you an opportunity to remain in the cockpit, providing seat support for high quality flight training to our clients. In addition to receiving formal aircraft SIC simulator training for select aircraft types, the SCM will have the opportunity to earn and then attend, at no cost one of the many advanced programs and enrichment courses provided by CAE.

Job Description : Individual Contributor - Fulfills the "Pilot Monitoring" role during Flight Simulator training. Attends all elements of the training event to support client's training and learning experience, including pre-flight and post flight briefings. Maintains professional conduct in all interactions with clients and instructors. Completes necessary forms and checklists as required for pilot monitoring role. Incumbent in this role would generally works on simple and defined unskilled tasks requiring limited judgment. Position requires basic skills and little to no prior work experience.
