Sales Leader For Outside Sales & Design Consultants
A proven sales leader with a passion to win, drive results, compete, and take risks in the strategy, growth, and transformation of the national network of Outside Sales & Design Consultants (OSDCs) in Custom Spaces. This position manages a team of Senior Custom Spaces Market Sales Managers (CSMSMs), who each manage a team of OSDCs in regions across the country, and is responsible for meeting or exceeding financial goals, growing our Custom Spaces market share, and providing exceptional service in premium custom designs and organizational solutions for the whole home. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position, plus bonus potential.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
- Drive profitable growth that outpaces the industry and meets / exceeds company revenue goals and other key performance indicators
- Proactively network to build and retain a high-performing team of OSDCs across the country that can deliver exceptional service and effectively convert leads into profitable sales
- Develop a high-performing leadership team of Custom Spaces Market Sales Managers that can build, develop, and manage a productive team of OSDCs and scale with growth
- Align Custom Spaces Market Sales Managers on the development and performance of the OSDCs centered on the customer relationship, consultative selling, design expertise and excellent communication and follow-up through project completion
- Partner closely with Training to support sales, design, and product training for new and existing OSDCs, and ensure OSDCs are compliant with Training and demonstrating progress
- Partner cross-functionally to drive lead generation across the country with various tactics via new customer acquisition, store partnerships, trade, organizers, events, referral or other
- Ensure in-home leads are maximized and effectively tracked and managed to ensure speed and closing ratios are met or exceeded
- Collaborate with Custom Spaces Market Sales Managers and other key stakeholders to create sales contests and design compelling and creative compensation & incentive programs.
- Collaborate and communicate regularly with Store Leadership, Director Custom Spaces In-Store Sales and Support Center partners to optimize the end-to-end customer experience and sales growth in Custom Spaces
- Maintain discretion related to all confidential / sensitive company and customer information
- Perform all other assigned duties
Experience and Skills Required :
College degree required, proficient in MS Suite10+ years regional or national sales experience with a drive to win and a proven track record of delivering results in a commission-based sales environmentPassionate and knowledgeable about the outside sales market and following trends in the industryExperience managing others including directing, evaluating, performance management and career developmentStrong knowledge of customer contact management and design tools; Salesforce experience strongly preferredAbility to travel up to 30% a year, based on the business needs while working in a constant state of alertness and safe mannerIs committed to working scheduled hours and has the flexibility to work additional hours based on changing business needs.
