Role : Lease Operator / Pumper

Position Description :

We are seeking a highly motivated, mechanically inclined Production Technician with a growth mindset who enjoys a dynamic, hands on, field-based work environment. You will be responsible for working in the field with other teams to perform repairs, perform preventative maintenance on existing equipment, diagnose issues, conduct root cause failure analysis, pre and post job reviews, handle contractor work, collect data / validate conditions, and investigate customer / 3rd party issues.

  • Gauge production on assigned wells and record gauge readings, downtime and other pertinent well information into the production system.
  • Perform lease maintenance such as minor surface pump and production equipment repairs and adjustments; grease pumping units, service lease equipment, etc.
  • Assist in witnessing meter calibrations; monitor rates and pressures on injection and disposal wells; monitor chemical use; test safety systems daily to maximize production.
  • Utilize SCADA to monitor and evaluate well performance and facility status, respond to SCADA alarms if required.

Requirements :

  • One plus years of Experience in oil and gas or other manufacturing / industrial business.
  • Basic pumping experience is a must and plunger lift is preferred.
  • Understanding of the oil and gas industry.
  • Provides technical and / or administrative support.
  • Demonstrates the ability to learn terminology, applications and standard procedures for performing the job function.
  • Performs routine, basic office / field tasks using established procedures.

    • Position Details :

    Location : Local to New Castle, PA

    Pay Range : $25 / hr (W2)

    Schedule : 7 / 7, 12 hour days

    Job Type : Full-time

    Company truck, tools, and fuel card provided.
