Job Title :  Machinist

Pay :   Up to $20 (Depending on Experience)

Shift : 1st

Job Summary :  Machinist is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC Wire EDM, Lathe, and Milling machines to produce precision components.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and modify CNC programs using software such as Mastercam or Esprit.
  • Set up CNC EDM, Lathe, and Mill machines with appropriate tooling and fixtures.
  • Interpret CAD drawings and GD&T specifications.
  • Operate machines to perform complex machining operations including drilling, milling, turning, threading, and contouring.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
  • Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are running at optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot programming and mechanical issues.
  • Maintain proper file management for all CNC programs.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
  • Experience in CNC machining (EDM, Lathe, Mill).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good physical condition and ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
