Speech-Language Pathologist (Per Diem) – Addington Place at College Harbor

Location : St. Petersburg, FL

Schedule : Per Diem / As Needed

We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our caring rehabilitation team on a per diem basis. This position is ideal for a skilled and enthusiastic professional seeking flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess residents’ speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet residents’ communication and swallowing goals.
• Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions to promote safety, independence, and improved quality of life.
• Collaborate closely with nursing, occupational therapy, and physical therapy teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication techniques and safe swallowing strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations.
