Spring Grinding Machine Operator – Metal Manufacturing

Job Description Ace Wire Spring & Form Co., Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Grinder to join our production team. In this critical role, you’ll operate precision grinding machines to ensure springs are flattened and straightened to exact specifications. Your work directly supports the high-quality standards our customers expect from every spring we produce. Duties Load springs into the grinding machine with accuracy and care Adjust machine height and settings according to product specifications Grind down springs using a grindstone to remove imperfections and achieve flatness Monitor machine performance and grinding quality throughout the production process Conduct quality inspections on finished parts to verify they meet company standards Perform basic maintenance and routine cleaning of grinding machines Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals Machines Operated Nimsco Schenker Besly Experience Prior experience with grinding machines or similar equipment preferred Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical specifications Strong manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination Basic mechanical skills for troubleshooting minor equipment issues Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities Able to work independently and cooperatively with others Committed to safety and consistent product quality All new hires are processed through a temp agency during their first 500 work hours. As part of this process, a drug test and background check are required. This arrangement does not affect take-home pay—all fees are fully covered by Ace Wire Spring & Form Co., Inc. After completing the 500-hour period, candidates may be evaluated for full-time hire or released based on performance and fit.
