At Hawkins Parnell, you will be immersed in all stages of cases from pre-suit claim investigation, motions, depositions, mediation, arbitration or trial and appeal as part of a team of seasoned attorneys handling primarily defending professional liability, as well as premises, coverage, and employment matters. A wide range of subject areas in the professional liability space provides broad experience for a talented attorney who wishes to join a success-driven, vibrant team.

What You Will Be Doing

• Being involved in claims and cases from start to finish
• Thinking analytically
• Conducting client meetings
• Investigating facts and analyzing circumstances of claims / lawsuits to recommend defense strategies to clients
• Researching and crafting persuasive briefs
• Planning and implementing all discovery
• Interviewing witnesses
• Conducting depositions
• Presenting motions at oral hearings
• Conducting settlement conferences and mediations
• Briefing appeals
• Opportunities for client marketing activities and conferences
