Dermatology Lead Medical Assistant

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Dermatology Lead Medical Assistant ready to step into a leadership position to fill an opening with a 5-star rated dermatology practice with a strong reputation and growth trajectory in Altamonte Springs, FL .

Daily Responsibilities For The Dermatology Lead Medical Assistant

  • Support MAs clinically — including injections, lidocaine mixing, rooming, and procedure prep
  • Coordinate scheduling, billing support, and patient inquiries and assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and staff coaching
  • Manage prescriptions, pathology tracking, and patient communications

Required Qualifications for the Dermatology Lead Medical Assistant :

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in a Dermatology setting
  • 1+ years of experience in a medical office management role

    • Preferred Qualifications for the Dermatology Lead Medical Assistant :

  • Strong knowledge of medical office operations, including patient scheduling, billing, and electronic health records
  • MA certification preferred, but NOT required
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff

  • $55,000- $70,000 per year (negotiable depending on experience)
