Position Summary :
Adjunct Instructor, CAS
Willamette University invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track instructor in Spanish language for the Fall 2024 semester (26 August–16 December; 14 weeks of instruction in total). Experience teaching elementary and intermediate Spanish classes, preferably at the postsecondary level. Teaching responsibilities will include 2–3 classes, most likely Elementary Spanish I. Classes are limited to 20 students. This position is renewable for future semesters, dependent on curricular need and successful performance reviews.
Salary
5,175 per course with a PhD
4,660 per course without PhD
This position must be able to reside in or primarily work in Oregon by the first day of employment. This is an in-person teaching position. A stipend to offset commuting costs can be provided for individuals residing more than 15 miles from our campus in Salem.
