Job descriptionConduct inpatient rounds, admissions, and discharges Participate in morning huddles and consult with subspecialties Communicate care plans effectively to patients and families Manage straightforward admissions, including CHF and COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, UTI / AMS, cellulitis, chest pain rule-outs, completed non-endovascular stroke workups, observation blood transfusions, hospice / palliative contract beds, and occasional observation patients for PT / OT Collaborate with strong nursing and case management support teams Coordinate patient transfers as needed Utilize Meditech EHR system for documentation Florida medical license required Rural hospital medicine experience is a plus ED handles all floor codes and procedures Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Embrace a culture of lifelong learning and professional development in locum assignments, continually seeking opportunities to expand knowledge, skills, and expertise throughout your career journey.
