Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

Location : Ithaca NY 14850

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night Shift 312-hour shifts

Hours per Week : 36 hours

Job Description

A skilled Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN is needed for a night-shift assignment at a healthcare facility in Ithaca NY. The nurse will provide high-quality patient care within a Med-Surg / Tele environment and float within scope to other inpatient units as required.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

Perform comprehensive assessments and implement individualized care plans

Monitor and interpret telemetry & vital signs

Administer medications and treatments safely

Document accurately using Epic EMR (Epic experience required)

Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team

Respond promptly to patient condition changes

Maintain patient safety infection control and quality standards

Float to other units within scope when needed

Requirements

Active RN license

Minimum 12 years of recent Med-Surg and / or Telemetry experience

Epic EMR experience required

Ability to work night shifts (312s weekly)

Strong clinical judgment communication and patient-care skills
