Job description

COMPANY OVERVIEW :

HireWorks is partnered with a market leader in pavement preservation and maintenance solutions. We’re seeking a motivated Territory Sales Manager with strong leadership and entrepreneurial drive to help support growth initiatives in the Dallas / East Texas territory. Company vehicle provided.

ROLE SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Develop strong knowledge of products, applications, and competitive landscape
  • Drive sales within an assigned territory by building relationships with contractors, municipalities, and other key decision makers
  • Manage leads, prepare quotes, track sales reports, and maintain accurate records
  • Oversee territory promotions, campaigns, and retail support activities
  • Conduct client site visits to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities
  • Provide product demonstrations, training, and troubleshooting for materials and equipment
  • Operate and demonstrate machinery (sealcoating, line striping, crack sealing, etc.) and assist customers with hands-on support
  • Handle order processing, deliveries, and occasional mobile repairs to meet client needs
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
  • Anticipate challenges, negotiate effectively, and create solutions that drive results
  • Travel extensively within territory, with some overnight stays required

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience selling directly to contractors or municipalities (required)
  • Strong track record of building and growing accounts in a field-based sales role
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; able to tow equipment when needed
  • Technical aptitude with ability to explain product specs and equipment operation
  • Skilled communicator with strong organizational and problem-solving ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and business software (ERP experience a plus)
  • Comfortable with physical aspects of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious with high integrity
  • Able to work independently while collaborating as part of a team
