We are a small team of scientists, engineers, and builders who've created some of the most widely used AI products, like ChatGPT, Character.ai, Mistral, PyTorch, OpenAI Gym, Fairseq, and Segment Anything.

Research Scientists

We're looking for exceptional pretraining, post-training, and multimodal Research Scientists to join our team. This is a highly collaborative role in a small team. You'll work closely with our infrastructure and design teams to deliver exploratory and core research bets. You'll have the resources including compute and a supportive environment to execute on the most impactful, long-term projects.

ML and Research Engineers

We're looking for outstanding ML and Research Engineers experts in their own right, who bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and our robust, scalable infrastructure. You'll build and optimize training infrastructure, implement novel architectures, and translate research breakthroughs into production-ready systems.
