Founded in 1987, T&M Services is the largest independent commercial furniture installation company in the Iowa/Nebraska market. While weve grown significantly, weve never lost our family-owned mindsetwe move fast, treat people right, and take pride in our reputation.

The Role

The General Manager Sales & Operations is the single point of ownership for the Omaha location.

Youll lead the installation and warehouse teams, manage customer relationships, oversee daily operations, and actively grow the business. This role blends operations, leadership, and salesand the right person enjoys wearing all three hats.

You are accountable for:

  • Operational execution

  • Customer satisfaction

This is not a desk-only role. Youll be visible, involved, and hands-onespecially where it matters most.

What Youll Own

Market Leadership

  • Set the tone for the marketlead, coach, and hold the team accountable
  • Build a culture of pride, safety, and ownership
  • Recruit, develop, and retain strong field and warehouse talent
  • Create clarity around expectations, priorities, and standards

Operations & Project Execution

  • Oversee all active projects from kickoff to closeout
  • Ensure jobs meet scope, schedule, quality, and budget expectations
  • Anticipate issues and remove obstacles before they slow the job down
  • Balance speed with qualityno shortcuts, no excuses

Customer Relationships & Growth

  • Protect and grow existing accounts through consistent communication and reliability
  • Build relationships with dealers, contractors, end users, and decision-makers
  • Identify new opportunities and convert them into revenue
  • Be the trusted problem-solver customers call first

Financial Performance

  • Own the P&L for your market
  • Track revenue, expenses, labor efficiency, and margins
  • Make smart, disciplined decisions that improve profitability
  • Understand how daily decisions impact the bottom line

Communication & Alignment

  • Keep customers informed with clear, proactive updates
  • Align internal teams so everyone is rowing in the same direction
  • Represent T&M professionally and in line with our values

Closeout & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure punch lists are completed and documentation is accurate
  • Leave customers confident they chose the right partner
  • Review completed projects and continuously tighten processes

What You Bring

  • Proven leadership experience in construction, logistics, installation, warehousing, or a similar service environment
  • Strong operational instinctsyou can plan, execute, and adjust quickly
  • Confidence working directly with customers and decision-makers
  • Experience managing budgets, margins, and P&L decisions
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities without dropping the ball
  • Commercial furniture installation experience is a plus
  • A natural eye for growth opportunitiesnew accounts, add-on work, and stronger partnerships
