Psychological Operations Specialist
As a Psychological Operations Specialist, you will master the art of persuasion. Your role involves assessing and developing strategic information to effectively influence and engage targeted audiences. You'll utilize various communication mediums to disseminate vital information and support U.S. and international governments, military entities, and civilian populations.
Requirements
Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
Aged 17 to 34 years
High School Diploma or GED required
Eligibility for a Top Secret Security Clearance is necessary
Must comply with Tattoo Guidelines
No major law violations
Free from medical concerns
Training & Qualifications
Access to 53 nationally recognized certifications
Complete 20 weeks of One Station Unit Training
Engage in a 10-day Psychological Operations Specialist Assessment & Selection Program post Airborne School and Psychological Operations Qualification Course (active duty only)
Score 85 or above on the Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB) (active duty only)
For both Active Duty & Army Reserve : Participate in 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training, followed by either 10 weeks of Advanced Individual Training or 16-22 weeks of One Station Unit Training
Active Duty only : Attend Airborne School
Complete a 5-week Psychological Operations Preparation & Conditioning Course
Undergo a 10-day Psychological Operations Assessment & Selection
Finish a 10-week Psychological Operations Qualification Course
Complete a 10-week Special Warfare Psychological Operations Course
Participate in 16-22 weeks of Basic Special Operations Language Training
Achieve a score of 75 or above on the Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB)
Achieve a 105 ASVAB Score in General Technical (GT)
