Qualifications :

2 Years of CVOR experience REQUIRED

1st Time Travelers are not ACCEPTED

Locals are ACCEPTED

REQUIRED Certs : BLS

PREFERRED Skills :

Level 1 trauma experience

Preferred that the candidate be proficient in scrubbing Cardiac cases, however, not required.

PREFERRED Certs : ACLS

JOB DETAILS :

Ratios : 1 : 1

Shift : 10 HR Day 4x10-Hour (06 : 15 - 16 : 45).

Call Requirement : 4 10-hour shifts M-F will call on the days scheduled, there could be a week they would work 5 days if the come in on their call weekend. 2 days a week and every third weekend. For an average of 14 call days per 6 week schedule.

Float Requirement : to main OR on same campus if no volume in CVOR.

Weekend Requirement : Call shift every third weekend

PATIENT DIAGNOSES : CABG, AVR, MVR, TVR, Aortic Dissection, TAVR, Laser lead extractions, Aortic Root, Carotids, Thoracic cases, Pericardial window, ECMO, Impe lla.

UNIT SYSTEMS : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

SCRUBS : Provided, Blue
