A company is looking for a Peer Mentor (Limited Appointment).
Key Responsibilities
Provide support, guidance, and hope to clients via various communication platforms
Function as a role model, normalizing the foster and adoptive process
Collaborate effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Must be an adult adoptee, former foster youth with at least two years in care, or have an adopted sibling
Experience mentoring high-risk youth or families
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Ability to take direction and supervision
