At St. Charles Health System , our OB / GYN Hospitalist team provides high-quality, compassionate care for women and newborns across Central Oregon. We’re seeking a dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB / GYN Physician to join our Bend hospitalist group. Comprehensive hospital-based practice : Serve as attending for unassigned OB / GYN patients who present to the Family Birthing Center or Emergency Department, and provide consultative and backup coverage for community providers and Certified Nurse Midwives.

Your Schedule
12-hour shifts, with occasional consecutive 24-hour coverage as neededPotential for backup call during high-census periodsPrimary practice location : St. Charles Bend HospitalWhat You’ll Do
Provide 24 / 7 OB / GYN hospitalist coverage, including admissions, consultations, deliveries, and surgical managementServe as attending for unassigned obstetric and gynecologic patients in the Family Birthing Center or Emergency DepartmentPerform cesarean deliveries, assist community physicians when requested, and back up the St. Charles Center for Women’s Health midwifery teamProvide OB / GYN consultations for inpatients, including psychiatric and rehabilitation units when requestedDocument all care accurately and promptly within the Epic EMRParticipate in departmental meetings, quality initiatives, and policy developmentMaintain active hospital privileges and compliance with all SCHS medical staff bylaws and policiesWhat You’ll Bring
MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited OB / GYN ResidencyBoard Certified or Board Eligible in OB / GYN (board certification required within 7 years of residency completion)Current or eligible Oregon medical licenseUnrestricted DEA and BLS certificationEligibility to participate in Medicare / Medicaid and other federal or state programsStrong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications
