Behavioral Health Services Supervisor
The County of Riverside Behavioral Health Department's San Jacinto New Life Clinic is currently seeking a Behavioral Health Services Supervisor. The New Life Clinic focuses on the reintegration and rehabilitation of individuals transitioning from prison and local jails, supporting their journey to becoming productive members of society. The clinic provides comprehensive mental health services aimed at improving overall health and wellness for those in need. The clinic primarily serves the forensic population, including justice-involved individuals with prior incarceration or at risk of involvement, who are managing mental health challenges and / or substance use disorders. The Behavioral Health Services Supervisor will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team consisting of Psychiatrists, Nurses, Parent Partners, Clinical Therapists, and Behavioral Health Specialists (Substance Abuse Counselors), including staff with lived experience. This supervisory role entails providing general oversight for non-clinical staff and clinical supervision for clinical personnel, including those requiring supervision for licensure hours. Responsibilities include staff oversight, implementation and enforcement of departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with workflows, and managing personnel tasks such as timecard verification. The position requires occasional fieldwork; therefore, a valid California Driver's License is mandatory. The work schedule follows a 9 / 80 format, with hours from 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 30 p.m.
We are looking for candidates who are licensed professionals (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) with a minimum of two years post-licensure experience, have strong computer and organizational skills, and have supervisory / lead experience.
