Maintenance Technician

Location : Irwin, PA

Pay : $28.00–$35.00 / hour

Schedule : Multiple Shifts Available

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician :

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and facility systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Assist with machine assembly and support production teams as needed
• Coordinate major repairs with contractors and specialists
• Monitor equipment performance and document recurring issues
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA regulations
• Participate in training to stay current with maintenance standards and compliance
• Support continuous improvement efforts in facility and equipment reliability

Qualifications of the Maintenance Technician :

• Associate’s degree in Facilities or Industrial Maintenance, or 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing maintenance role
• Strong technical knowledge of industrial systems including CNC machinery, motors, pumps, and controls
• Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
• Skilled in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, climb ladders, and work in physically demanding environments
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
