Work location : Texas Health Fort Worth 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue in Fort Worth, TX 76104.

Work hours : 3 shifts per week full-time, 11 : 00AM-11 : 00PM and includes rotating weekends and holidays.

Here's What You Need

Education :

High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Experience :

Three (3) months recent Paramedic experience or completion of a Paramedic Internship is required.

One (1) year of Paramedic experience is preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

EMT-P - Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic upon hire required

LP - Licensed Paramedic Upon Hire required

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire required,

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire required.

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 days of hire required.

CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 60 days of hire required.

Skills

Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast paced environment, positive interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills, able to perform basic computer skills.

Provides safe patient care under the delegation of appropriate Physician and competency sign-off.

Professional Development

Participates in change; understands, promotes, and values ed evidence-based practices, quality improvement, and / or research, and utilizes them in practice; follows guidelines and recommendations defined by regulatory or professional practice agencies. Provides daily care that achieves outcome targets for core measures, NPSG, employee satisfaction, patient satisfaction, NDNQI and other unit / organizational metrics; demonstrates commitment to lifelong learning and development; demonstrates a commitment to advancing the professional practice of paramedicine; incorporates ethical principles from the Texas Department of State Health Services EMT Code of Ethics.
