As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone on site. What You'll Do : Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry at the logistics and distribution location. Perform identification and credentials verification for individuals entering or exiting the premises. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe for any unusual or suspicious activity. Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, utilizing problem-solving skills as needed. Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related matters, including emergency response protocols. Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and contractors by addressing inquiries and offering directions as appropriate. Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal standards. Collaborate with logistics site personnel to maintain a secure environment tailored to the unique needs of the location. Minimum Requirements : Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
