A company is looking for a Loan Officer Assistant to support loan origination staff in processing loan transactions.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunicate with customers, real estate agents, and escrows at the start of the transactionCollect necessary documentation to complete loan transactions and assist with preapprovalsUpdate all parties on the status of loan transactions and order standard loan requirementsRequired QualificationsTwo or more years of recent mortgage operations, underwriting, or processing experienceCurrent hands-on experience as a loan officer assistant, processor, or underwriterKnowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and other mortgage guidelinesProficient with Encompass softwareUnderstanding of compliance regulations and investor guidelines
