Overview :  The Transportation Dispatcher will be responsible for answering phone calls promptly while managing other office tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate will have some transportation background and be a dependable team player willing to support their colleagues and adjust to changing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Answer phone calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Receive, prioritize, and dispatch service requests.
• Perform additional office tasks as assigned to support daily operations.
• Communicate clear and accurate instructions to carriers, drivers or customers.
• Maintain detailed records of dispatch activities, including customer interactions.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operational flow and customer satisfaction.
• Utilize dispatch software and communication systems to track personnel and asset status.
• Adapt to changing schedules and priorities as needed.
