Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Manage patient care plans and coordinate healthcare services for optimal outcomes.

Conduct assessments and evaluate patient needs across clinical and post-discharge settings.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and interdisciplinary teams.

Facilitate transitions of care, including hospital discharge planning and follow-up.

Educate patients and families on care plans, treatment adherence, and available resources.

Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Valid Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Case Management, Utilization Review, or Care Coordination.

Current BLS certification.
