Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in Waldorf, MD. This onsite role focuses on providing psychological services to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, with a particular emphasis on elementary levels. The position is offered on a contract basis for the duration of the new school year.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and assessments to support student learning and development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to meet student needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and plan support services.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications :

  • Valid Maryland psychologist license is required.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, with a preference for candidates familiar with elementary education.
  • Strong understanding of child development, learning disabilities, and educational psychology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a school setting.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
