Job descriptionThe Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients' plan of care. The incumbent creates an atmosphere that supports the vision : To be our region's most trusted partner in healthcare. As the primary care giver, the Staff Nurse, RN provides direct patient care and works collaboratively with other care team members, the physician and the patient / family to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Decisions are made independently and in collaboration with others. The incumbent works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and under the indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing. Travelers may be asked to float to similar units and may need to float to other locations depending on census. Will work every other weekend. Heart Recovery experience is required. Experience with balloon pump and CRRT training. Will work every other weekend.
