We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA). The SFA will report to the VP of Finance and help with all aspects of financial forecasting, reporting, analysis, and strategic decisions. The SFA must have an extensive background with excel and financial modeling - and a strong desire to provide analysis for key decisions across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Own and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual presentations for management, investors, and the Board of Directors.
- Analyze financial statements, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights for management.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and providing recommendations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather financial information, understand business drivers, and support decision-making processes
- Support strategic planning initiatives by analyzing financial data and trends to assist in the development of business strategies.
- Conduct scenario analyses and financial simulations to evaluate potential business opportunities and risks.
- Perform extensive decision support for key business initiatives, including internal and external (M&A) investment thesis
- Partner with University Partnerships team to build pricing models for new clients
- Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Effectively manage numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced, fluid environment
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or experience with financial modelingExperience building Board of Directors presentations, investor relations, and M&A analysisExceptional Excel technical capabilities, love of spreadsheets, and financial modelingExperience with QuickBooks and Ramp is a plusBA or BS in Finance or AccountingSelf -starter, ability to thrive, and be highly effective in a fast-paced and fluid environmentHigh level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize demands to meet deadlinesHigh level of maturity to handle sensitive financial informationExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsHigh-energy, good reader and writer, entrepreneurial, talented, easily bored, competitiveKey Benefits :
