Job description

Smart Factory Digital Product Manager

Continuously increase the value that a Smart Factory digital product or solution delivers to the business throughout its entire lifecycle by understanding, prioritizing, and managing features and improvements based on user feedback and business impact.

Principal Accountabilities :

  • Review use case demands and prioritize business requirements with Process Owners and site users
  • Quantify expected benefits, ROI, and payback; maintain product and project P&L view
  • Convert use cases into structured business requirements and epic / user-story backlogs
  • Familiar with DevOps and Agile Way of Working
  • Influence make-vs-buy and vendor / tool selection decisions
  • Maintain product roadmap, balancing new features, capability requirements at the site / users, and regulatory requirements that may be affected by product
  • Define success metrics (OEE, scrap, labor efficiency, etc.) and track benefits post-launch
  • Manage and deliver to the change-management plans (training, comms, adoption support)
  • Champion user feedback loops; feed insights into backlog grooming
  • Manage and govern the product budget (development, licensing, support)
  • Govern product budget and licenses, delivering forecasts, cost controls, and contract true-ups
  • Serve as point of escalation for product issues that may be impacting business continuity
  • Work with DevOps and engineering to plan how use cases / solutions are released
  • Use data to make informed decisions about future updates or changes
  • Represent the voice of the users / business throughout the deployment process

Education, Experience, and Capabilities Preferred :

  • 5+ years leading software or digital products in B2B / industrial settings
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical or other Engineering background required
  • Proven ownership of product P&L, ROI modelling, and roadmap delivery
  • Experience running cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, plant operations)
  • Excellent customer-engagement and presentation skills
  • Clear communicator from shop floor to executive boardroom
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and experience
  • Strong data-driven decision-making and cross-functional facilitation capability
  • Demonstrated ability to set clear strategies & guide teams to results
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to function at all levels across multiple organizations.

    Salary Range Information : $146,100.00 - $241,200.00 USD Annual
