Summary
The Senior HR Generalist & Talent Manager plays a dual role in supporting the company’s human resources operations and talent management efforts. This position is responsible for managing and administering HR programs; providing day-to-day support to employees and managers across the organization; and supporting talent acquisition for Dallas and Irving. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoy playing a key utility role within HR.
HR Generalist Responsibilities
- Administer HR policies, benefits, and programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Support employee relations efforts, documenting issues and assisting in investigations when needed.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit interviews.
- Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations and goal setting.
- Maintain HR records and ensure data integrity using modernized HRIS and HRM systems and processes.
- Support HR projects such as compensation reviews, engagement initiatives, and training coordination.
Talent Acquisition Responsibilities
Support recruiting efforts, as needed, for Dallas and Irving offices.Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, create job postings, and develop sourcing strategies.Assist with identifying qualified candidates through job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking.As needed, conduct initial interviews, coordinate hiring manager interviews, and facilitate the offer process.Maintain ATS and CRM for accuracy and compliance.Promote the employer brand to attract and retain talent within the telecommunications industry.Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.5-7 years of combined HR and talent experience, ideally in telecom, technology, or a related industry.Working knowledge of employment law, recruiting practices, and HR administration.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency with HRIS and ATS platforms (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, Workday, or similar).Experience supporting call center or field technician roles in a telecommunications company is preferred not mandatory.
