DESCRIPTION :

As a Systems Team Leader, you'll be leading a team of developers and analysts in the support and maintenance of computer programs and data warehouses. You'll interact with Enterprise Data Services customers daily as you complete various tasks. Daily work will vary, as your team offers support for multiple customers, and for multiple projects, throughout State Government.

  • Participate in reviews of functional requirements, system designs, test plans, and coding reviews to maintain project focus and quality
  • Support team members and maintain human resource standards for items such as policies, standards, recruitment, confidentiality.
  • Perform special tasks as assigned where timelines and complexity may vary
  • Balance workloads between various projects, individual improvement plans, time off, and special requests

    This engaging and challenging work will provide the selected candidate with an opportunity to become part of a team who interacts with all MaineIT teams and various business partners. Put your skills and experience to the test, while gaining an understanding of complex systems, and collaborating with a cross-section of users, vendors, and other IT staff. This work is performed under limited supervision.

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

    Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in application system analysis and programming including a minimum of one (1) year in a working supervisor role -OR- a Bachelors Degree and 3 years of progressively responsible experience in application system analysis including a minimum of one (1) year in a working supervisor role -OR- a Masters Degree and 1 year of progressively responsible experience in application systems analysis in a working supervisor role.
