Location: Syracuse, NY Area (Project-Site Based)
Status: Full-Time, Project-Based (Contingent on Award)

About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on Field Superintendent to be the on-site commander for a major fencing project. You will be responsible for the day-to-day field operations, ensuring that work is executed efficiently, safely, and according to plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise all field crews and foremen on a daily basis.

• Manage site logistics, material staging, and equipment utilization.

• Enforce strict compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

• Read and interpret project plans and specifications to guide the crew.

• Coordinate with the Project Manager on schedule updates, resource needs, and field issues.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a Superintendent or similar lead role.

• Extensive experience with chain-link fence installation or similar linear construction projects.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a large crew.

• In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures.

• Proficiency with construction equipment (skid-steers, augers, etc.).
