Job Type : Full Time
Shifts Available : 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Compensation : $27.00-$44.80 / hr
Sign-On Bonus : $7,000

As an Electro-Mechanical Technician , you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a variety of electrical and mechanical systems, including conveyor belts, packaging machinery, and food processing and bakery equipment. You will work closely with our production team to minimize downtime and ensure that our equipment meets the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
Support our production teams by maintaining and repairing all production lines, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment.Install, repair, rebuild and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production, packaging, and all other plant areas.Be involved in all aspects of equipment from installation to rebuilding, fitting, and aligning equipment to meet quality and efficiency standards.Demonstrate strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills on controls such as, PLC’s, VFD’s, servos, robotics, and programmable devices.Qualifications :
Proven ability to operate safely by following all food and people guidelines.Utilizing knowledge from your 5+ years’ experience with mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, and electrical repair to facilitate seamless production functionality to deliver daily production goals.Organized and methodical approach to problem solving – often in a time-sensitive, tight-deadline situation where accuracy is critical.Designated lifelong learner with a strong interest in mastering new mechanical technologies.Team player with excellent communication skills ready to work hard to ensure the whole Palermo’s team succeeds.Schedule & Work Environment :
Full-time with openings across all shifts including 1st (6am–3pm), 2nd (2pm–11pm), and 3rd (10pm–7am).5-day workweek with every other weekend off.Overtime opportunities available.
