Job Description :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail - oriented HR Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will play a crucial part in managing employee relations and overseeing all aspects of employee onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling HR functions across multiple countries, specifically Canada, the USA, and Mexico.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Employee Relations : Act as a point of contact for employees to address concerns, conflicts, and questions related to workplace policies and procedures. Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, trust, and teamwork among employees.
  • Onboarding : Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the organization. This includes coordinating with various departments to gather necessary information, scheduling training sessions, and providing resources to help employees get up to speed quickly.
  • Transfers and Promotions : Manage the process of employee transfers and promotions within the organization. This involves coordinating with managers to assess employee eligibility and readiness, facilitating the necessary paperwork, and ensuring a seamless transition for the employees involved.
  • Offboarding : Oversee the offboarding process for employees leaving the organization. This includes conducting exit interviews to gather feedback, ensuring the return of company property, and completing all necessary administrative tasks in a timely manner.
  • Compliance : Ensure that all HR processes and procedures comply with local labor laws and regulations in Canada, the USA, and Mexico. Stay up - to - date with changes in employment laws and adjust company policies accordingly.
  • Data Management : Maintain accurate and up - to - date employee records in the HR information system. Generate reports as needed for management review and decision - making.

Qualifications :

  • degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations and onboarding / off-boarding processes.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Canada, the USA, and Mexico.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficient in using HR information systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail - oriented with excellent organizational and time - management skills.
