Schuylkill County Children and Youth provides services that promote the safety, permanency, and well-being of children. The agency strives to make sure that children are above all, protected from abuse and neglect and they are safely maintained in their home whenever possible and appropriate.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Under general supervision, the County Caseworker 1 will provide social and case management services to a caseload of children, youth, and families; investigate reports of child abuse and neglect; conduct home studies; and prepare reports and records in accordance with administrative policies and regulatory guidelines.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment.
• Work hours are 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework : You will not have the option to telework in this position.
