Job Summary :
The Technical Director will implement and maintain the approved Quality Control Plan and assist Firm leaders in enforcing this plan daily. They will develop an understanding and working knowledge of the firm’s Architectural Standards, procedures, etc. and work with staff to ensure that these standards and procedures are always being followed. Items not being followed and identified by the QC Manager as needing training will be documented and incorporated into the firms training plan, which should be led by the QC Manager. Continuous mentoring will also be a significant part of this role. The QC Manager will perform quality inspections of all architectural plans prior to those plans being sent out of the office and use any markups as teaching opportunities. Time may be spent at construction site’s during construction phase services to assist firm management with construction phase services.
