Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Nashville, TN 37203 Unit : 10 Tower – Med / Surg (14 beds) Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Shift : 12 Hour Days (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM) Hours per Week : 36 Weekend Requirement : 4 weekend shifts per schedule Documentation System : Meditech Estimated Weekly Salary : $1440 - $1550 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state (required for nursing jobs in Nashville) Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg nursing experience Current BLS and NIHSS certifications Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to float to other units as needed per contract policy Scrubs required per dress code Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to diverse Med / Surg patient populations (1 : 4 or 1 : 5 nurse-to-patient ratio) Collaborate with healthcare team members including unit secretaries, charge nurses, and techs Accurately document patient care and progress using Meditech Perform and assist with unit-specific clinical procedures Comply with hospital and unit policies, including floating to other units as required Promote a positive patient experience and uphold standards of a Joint Commission Thrombectomy Certified unit Join our Nashville healthcare team today and take the next step in your nursing career.
