Job description

Position :

  • Sales Administrator Employee Type : Full-Time Primary Purpose of the Job : Coordinate with other departments and directs resources to maintain accurate customer releases in ERP system.  Establishes and updates monthly sales plan that aligns with customer requirements.  Maintains weekly customer calls and delivery commits for such customers.

Specific Duties :

  • Serve as voice of the customer within Polamer.
  • Communicates relevant points to internal Polamer team.
  • Works with management regarding OTD misses, raises hand proactively to team for potential misses in advance.
  • Review’s material positions (Raw, WIP & FG) for compliance to customer demand.
  • Establishes priorities for customers and “drop-dead” deadlines when appropriate to help Polamer management team prioritize appropriately.
  • Assist Production Management with daily tasks.
  • Aids in Building monthly SIOP plans
  • Release new jobs into production from PRP
  • Oversee all purchase order entry / amendments / terminations.
  • Maintain customer releases and communicated customer requirements.
  • Coordinating with Supply Chain on requirements
  • Maintains customer commit portals.
  • Maintains master pricing in PLEX(ERP)
  • Works to improve planning processes that result improved delivery performance with our customers.
  • Maintains the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for satisfactory performance.
  • Works with manager to realize synergies between production and production planning.
  • Handles miscellaneous internal needs like PO questions, understanding RMAs / Credits.
  • Work Environment :

  • While performing duties for this job, it’s required to alternate between standing and sitting.
  • Also perform walking, gross manipulation, visual acuity, climbing stairs, ladders, ramps, fine motor manipulation, lifting / carrying, pushing, and pulling.
  • Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane Must be able to perform repetitive movements daily.
  • Required to always wear safety shoes and safety glasses when on the shop floor.
  • Possible risk of injury from equipment or sharp parts and may be required to use protective equipment such as gowns and safety goggles.
  • Assignment may require working on loud and potentially dangerous machinery / materials.
  • Required to use computer or touch screen to enter work order data.
  • Must be able to move and lift objects of up to 40 lbs.
