Job Summary : Our innovative Mobile Crisis Response Team at DLC rapidly responds 24 / 7 to requests for crisis interventions in the community. Referral sources include health care providers, family members, self-referral, law enforcement, and other community members. This is a fast-paced environment where Clinicians work collaboratively with Psychiatrists, Nurses, and MRT Client Care Specialists to meet the needs of Clients and families via a multi-disciplinary team approach.

Key Responsibilities :

• Responding to crisis situations, conducting risk assessments, triage duties and completing safety planning with individuals in crisis.
• Performing a range of clinical services related to the assessment / care / treatment of individuals experiencing crises, in the school, home, and community.
• Local travel including to / from :

~ Multiple service sites, to the homes, or residences or persons served, and within the community.

~ Homes and residences

~ Additional community locations

Qualifications :

~ Working with and relating to a diversity of diverse cultural / social / economic backgrounds

~ Program implementation skills

~ Competency in age-related or specialty issues / developmental needs

~ Assessment, diagnosis and treatment regarding severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders

Physical Requirements : This position requires a mix of physical activities throughout the workday. Duties involve periods of standing, sitting, and walking, often across various areas of the site. The role also includes tasks that may require bending, reaching, and other physical movements. Candidates must be able to occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. A reasonable level of physical stamina and mobility is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
